Identity photographs are sensitive. This page restates the practices already published in the data privacy documentation. It is the customer-facing summary. The documentation page is the detailed version.
Delivery and retention
- Nothing stored on the service. You receive the image and store it in your own systems.
- Temporary link. The service can hold a copy for 2 hours to 14 days. Copy it into your system before that window ends. That window is not your retention schedule.
Transmission, regions, and regulation
Data is encrypted in transmission. US and EU processing endpoints are available. Other regions are available per request. The published policy states compliance with the GDPR and the CCPA. Periodic security reviews are part of the same published policy.
