ID photos for driving schools

A permit, a student card, and an instructor badge are three files, even when they start from one portrait.

Front desks mix these up: the licensing authority’s photograph, the school’s student card, and the instructor’s badge. The long guide is how driving schools collect ID photos.

Read what the authority will accept before you promise a file. Some authorities take the photograph only at their counter. Others accept a file or a print. Tell the family which one applies. Use the authority’s published size for the application, and your own template for each card. If a size you print is missing, ask support to add it.

When the student is a minor

Say who may upload, where the photo is stored, and how long the school keeps it. A vendor temporary link of 2 hours to 14 days is not a school retention policy. You can take the image back so nothing is stored on the service. Do not use a minor’s photo in marketing.

The wider catalog covers 300+ specifications across 200+ countries when a family also needs a passport or visa photo. Starting from $0.20 per photo. Each portrait is prepared on its own.
