Passport and Visa Photo API

Turn an ordinary portrait into a properly sized passport, visa, or ID photo through one API integration.

What the API does

Provide:

• one portrait photo; and
• a specCode for the required document, such as a passport or visa photo.

The API processes the portrait for the selected specification and returns the generated ID photo together with any detected photo-quality issues.

Choose an integration flow

Direct result

Use POST /v2/makeIdPhoto when your server should receive the final photo in one request.

Upload a portrait + choose a specCode → Receive the final ID photo

Preview before delivery

Use the watermark flow when your application needs to show a preview before releasing the final photo.

Create a watermarked preview → User confirms → Retrieve the final photo
